Who is responsible

Lintel is run by Jeremy Zhen, who is the controller of any personal data handled through this website and the Lintel service. For anything about your data, email hello@lintellondon.com.

This website

These public pages set no cookies and run no analytics or tracking. Like any website, the service that delivers it (Cloudflare) receives your IP address and browser details and keeps short-lived logs for security and fixing faults. We don't combine these with anything else.

If we have emailed you about Lintel

We introduce Lintel by email to people who work at estate agencies and property developers. We use business contact details taken from your firm's own website, its listings or your professional profile, and we record where each address came from. We rely on our legitimate interest in telling relevant businesses about a professional service. We don't email personal addresses, and we only email sole traders or partnerships who have asked us to.

Every email says who it's from and how to stop further ones. Reply, or email hello@lintellondon.com, with "unsubscribe" and we'll stop within a few days, keeping your address only on a list of people not to contact. We keep prospect details for no more than two years after our last contact unless you become a customer. We don't use tracking pixels in these emails.

If you use the Lintel records

• Your email address when you sign in. Sign-in is handled by Cloudflare Access, which emails you a one-time code. Cloudflare records your email address and when you signed in, so that only invited people can reach the records. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. Cloudflare sets one cookie to keep you signed in; it is strictly necessary for the service to work.
• Maps. When a page shows a Google map, or you open a street-level view, your browser connects to Google. Google receives your IP address and browser details and may use cookies, under Google's privacy policy.
• Your saved sites and comparisons are stored only in your own browser. They are never sent to us.

We don't run advertising, analytics or tracking, and we don't sell data.

Information about developments

The development records are built from public sources: planning records, developers' own publications and HM Land Registry's Price Paid Data, which is published under the Open Government Licence. Sale prices are shown for a development as a whole, not to identify who owns a home. Where a record names a person, such as the photographer credited for an image, it is because the source published that credit. If you think a record says something about you that is wrong, or that shouldn't be there, tell us and we'll look at it.

Who else handles data

Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the sign-in; Google provides the maps. Both may process data outside the UK, including in the United States, under the safeguards they provide.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it's used. Email hello@lintellondon.com and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If this notice changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
